Submissions for the 2015 edition of the Guadeloupe International Film Festival, which will be taking place March 13 -21, 2015, are now open.  The regular submission deadline is December 1, 2015, and the notification date is December 15, 2013.

Launched in 1992, the FEMI, regional and international Film festival of Guadeloupe, is the only french-speaking film festival in the Caribbean.

Its mission: promote the work of filmmakers from the Caribbean, screen art films, and be a friendly meeting-place where everyone can exchange ideas and impressions.  Organized by the non profit association “ICM” and supported by sponsoring partners such as the Regional Council, the Ministry of Overseas France, the Ministry of Culture (DAC), as well as many private-owned companies, this main annual cultural event will take place from March 13-21 2015i in more than 10 cities of Guadeloupe.
