A Story About Wendy (2012) and A Story About Wendy 2 (2014) follows the journey of Wendy Phillips as she tries to pick up the pieces after a messy breakup.

Wendy Phillips’ life spirals out of control after the sudden departure of her fiancé. Forced to move back in with her parents, Wendy’s Mother and childhood best friend, Giselle are concerned that Wendy is hanging out with a deviant, Sylvia. Wendy hopes that landing a job with Television Presenter Simone Davies, will help get her back on her feet, but Simone has other plans for Wendy.

Our second film, tells the story of Love gone right – it is the refreshing and heartwarming story of the filmmakers’ own love story.

“The Sweetest Mango,” Antigua’s first feature film is a romantic comedy that tells the story of Lovelyanne ‘Luv” Davies, who returns from Canada to Antigua and her struggles to adjust to life on a small island. It follows her professional turmoil and personal drama, including being caught in an unexpected love triangle.

We will be hosting a Q and A session after the screening with HaMa Films – where we will be talking about the making of the film, the development of filmmaking in the Caribbean, and the fundraiser for their new production, “Deep Blue.” Copies of their films will be available for purchase at the screening.
