Back in 2013, we screened a short film, The Cutlass, to great reviews by our viewers.  Everyone seeing the short, kept asking us when the feature would be made.  Well, here it is.  The producers of the film have launched a crowdfunding campaign on Indiegogo, one of the premiere fundraising platforms for films.

With the campaign, the producers hope to raise $48,000 to shoot the feature length version of the film.  Watch the pitch video for the campaign …

The film, which won the “Best Film in Development,” at the 2012 Trinidad & Tobago Film Festival, is a “dramatic thriller inspired by a true story of faith, strength and survival.”

Brief Synopsis:  After enduring a terrifying robbery, Joanna falls into the grasp of a sociopath, and is taken into the depths of the secluded jungle. She finds herself isolated in a world of natural beauty as she musters the courage to emotionally battle the unsettled mind of her kidnapper.
