2017 Hampton Roads Caribbean Film Festival

The inaugural Hampton Roads Caribbean Film Festival, has launched its call for submissions.  The Festival, making its debut in Hampton Roads, Virginia, will be held in June, during Caribbean American Heritage Month, and is currently accepting submissions for feature films, documentaries, animated films, and shorts.

Stories must be themed around a Caribbean subject (cultural, historical, etc.), characters must be Caribbean or of Caribbean descent, and films that must have been shot in locations where significant Caribbean communities reside (NYC, Miami, Boston, Washington D.C., London, Toronto, etc.).

This is a global call, open to filmmakers worldwide. The deadline for submissions, is March 31. The submission fee is $30 USD per entry.
