The Timehri Film Festival (TFF), is an annual film festival whose aim is to showcase the work of Guyanese and Caribbean filmmakers in the Region and Diaspora. The Festival is hosted by the Caribbean Film Academy (CAFA) in partnership with the Caribbean-American culture blog, Rewind & Come Again (RACA).

TFF’s Mission is to celebrate and support the work of Guyanese filmmakers, at home and in the Diaspora, and to share films and stories made in other Caribbean countries, with Guyanese audiences.

All festival film screenings are free and open to the public. In addition,  TFF  holds several private satellite screenings for audiences that don’t have access to our venues. This includes select schools, community groups, prisons and indigenous communities.

This year, we are partnering with another award-winning Caribbean writer/director to offer a six day screen writing workshop during the Festival. The workshop will focus on the nuts & bolts of writing screenplays. Participants will be taught key production techniques and industry best standards.
