Now in its 5th year, the Timehri Film Festival, which will run from May 21-31, 2020, in Georgetown, Guyana, is accepting submissions.
The Festival is a Guyanese and Caribbean film festival and is seeking submissions from filmmakers who are from Guyana and/or the Caribbean or who are of Guyanese/Caribbean heritage, and have made their films in 2019. Feature length and short narratives and documentaries are accepted.
The Festival plays in two main venues in Georgetown, Moray House and Dutch Bottle Cafe, and includes Environmental and LGBTQ films.
The 2020 Festival, will once again feature the 48HR Film Challenge held in collaboration with Bent Street Films and a 3-day Producing Workshop.
