January 26, Port-of-Spain – Trafficked, a co-production between Eye On Dependency and Quirky Films has secured its much anticipated US debut at the Pan African Film and Arts Festival (PAFF) to be held in Los Angeles, California from February 4th -15th 2016.

PAFF is the largest and most prestigious festival of its kind in the United States and screens over 150 films from across the globe. USA Today selected PAFF as #3 in their 2015 list of 10 Best Film Festivals in the U.S.

Trafficked is a cautionary tale of three friends who are seduced by a stranger’s wealth and charm, and end up making choices that would change their lives forever. Trafficked is written and directed by Sean Hodgkinson and stars Aaron Charles, Gyerlini Clarke, Kia Rollock with Brett Bengochea, Abdi Waithe, Brendan O’Brien and Thalia Baptiste.

The plot for Trafficked was inspired by real events as told on Garth St. Clair’s radio programme Eye on Dependency by the victims of drug-related crimes.
